Day 1

Arrive in Maun

Arrive in Botswana at Maun International Airport in the north of the country, the best port of entry for the Okavango Delta and Moremi Game Reserve. From here, you’ll take a short 45-minute light aircraft flight to Selinda Game Reserve, a private concession in the Kwando-Linyanti Region. You’ll be staying at Selinda Camp, an intimate and luxurious safari camp comprised of just three exclusive tents, featuring en-suite facilities, private verandahs for wildlife viewing and epic views over the surrounding scenery.

Day 2-3

Explore Kwando-Linyanti

Head out on game drives around the 136,000-hectare reserve or taking a guided walk through the bush. Slip into Selinda’s waters on a boat trip for a wildlife-watching cruise, as well as incredible birdwatching opportunities. With around 200 recorded bird species to spot, keep your binoculars on hand for sightings of herons, kites, cranes and kingfishers.

Day 4
Transfer to the Okavango Delta

Today, you’ll take a morning game drive around Selinda, then head to the Okavango Delta on a light aircraft flight to Vumbura Plains. You’ll be staying at Vumbura Plains Camp, set in the private Vumbura Reserve. If you prefer, you can charter a helicopter, and fly over the plains on a safari from the air, before arriving at the camp’s helipad. Vumbura Plains Camp is a duo of luxury tented camps, North and South, with each camp comprised of seven lavish suites. Elegant interiors atop raised wooden platforms, each tent features en-suite bathroom facilities (including both outdoor and indoor shower options).

Day 5-6
Explore the Okavango Delta

Game drives through woodlands and savannah grasslands offer sightings of big game favourites, including elephant, zebra, giraffe, buffalo, hyena, cheetah, lion, kudu and antelope species. Head out after dark on a night safari and you’ll see the region’s nocturnal creatures come alive. Take a mokoro (traditional dug-out canoe) through the delta’s maze of waterways for encounters with hippos and crocodiles, plus secret island discoveries.

Day 7
Transfer to Moremi Game Reserve

Take one last morning game drive at Vumbura before boarding a light aircraft flight to Botswana’s famous Moremi Game Reserve, where you’ll be staying at Mombo Camp. Mombo was built using all-natural facilities and boasts 100% solar power, blending perfectly into the wilderness. Day 8
Explore Moremi Game Reserve

Nicknamed “The Place of Plenty,” Mombo Camp is situated on the northern tip of Chief’s Island, the biggest island in the Okavango Delta and an incredibly fertile area that attracts diverse wildlife and birdlife. With high concentrations of big game, you’ll be treated to a large herd of elephants, wildebeests, buffalo, giraffes and zebra, plus predators and big cats such as hyenas and lions. Rarer species to keep your eyes peeled for include cheetah, African wild dog, as well as black and white rhino.

Day 9
Transfer to Victoria Falls

Today, you’ll leave Botswana behind and head to Zimbabwe, with a flight to Kasane and a transfer onto Victoria Falls. You’ll be staying at Matetsi Victoria Falls, a luxury river lodge located on a private 15-kilometre stretch of the Zambezi, around 40 kilometres upstream from the majestic falls. Enjoy comfort and elegance in your spacious suite, which includes both indoor and outdoor rain showers, a bathtub and lovely Zambezi River views.

Explore Victoria Falls

Mosi-Oa-Tunya (The Smoke That Thunders) is an impressive natural phenomenon. Explore the falls at your own pace, with hikes to gorgeous, spray-filled viewpoints or adrenaline activities, including bungee jumping, the Gorge Swing, white-water rafting, helicopter rides (Victoria Falls is particularly impressive from above), a micro-light flight, zipline, or swim out to Devil’s Pool; a natural infinity pool right on the edge of the falls.
